Is alcohol bad for fat loss and recovery?
Alcohol adds calories, disrupts sleep and can slow muscle recovery, so regular drinking works against both fat loss and strength gains. Occasional drinks will not ruin your progress.
If you drink, keep it moderate, eat protein with it and drink water. Not drinking on the night before training or after a hard session helps most.
