How much sleep do I need for fitness results?
Most adults need seven to nine hours. Short sleep reduces strength, recovery and willpower, increases hunger and makes fat loss harder, so it is one of the most underrated parts of any program.
Keep a regular schedule, limit caffeine in the afternoon, and keep screens and bright light low before bed. If sleep is poor, protect it before adding more training.
